Aligned Media Invests in Downtown St. Louis with Significant Real Estate Purchase

Communications agency purchases property in the Locust Business District

Aligned Media, a video production and creative agency, has made a significant investment in the Locust Business District by purchasing the property at 3200 Locust, the building where the company’s offices are currently located. The purchase of the building will add an extra 5,000 square feet to the company’s current 6,000 square feet of office space. The extra space will allow Aligned Media to expand operations with more production space, in addition to more client and administrative space, including meeting rooms.

“This building has been home for us for the past three years and it makes great business sense to purchase it versus leasing, as we love the location,” says Scott Huegerich, Aligned Media managing partner. “We are excited to be a part of this community for the long-term and we are looking forward to the growth and development of this area in the coming years.”

The 11,000 square foot property also includes an adjacent gated parking lot and is located at the corner of Locust and Compton, in the heart of the Locust business district. The area has been a hot bed for creative and marketing firms, which also contributed to the decision to remain in the current area. With the purchase of the property, Aligned Media plans to invest approximately $1.2 million in the area.

Longtime local developer Jassen Johnson, who assisted with the transaction, is excited to see another agency growing their footprint and become and owner-occupant. “Ownership encourages the business to take root and create momentum for the neighborhood to flourish. The caliber of Aligned Media reinforces this area as a creative district,” said Johnson. Along with Johnson, Lisa Prinster of Mishaal Taqui Company also played a key role in the purchase of the property.

The agency was also welcomed into the district by Alderwoman Marlene Davis, 19th Ward. “On behalf of the City, we are pleased that another company is helping our City grow by investing in this area,” she stated.

Aligned Media launched in 2015, meeting the growing demand for compelling visual content in traditional and new media channels. The founders: Bryan Arnold, Scott Huegerich and Scott Smith, bring many years of experience in still and video production work delivered on behalf of many regional and national corporations in partnership with their creative agencies.
